Aimed at students and musicians in general composition.

¿Located within a genre extent to which conditions us or encourages us? For artistic creation need conditioning or absolute freedom? Would separating the music is really popular or cultured favorable for musical creation? Does that line of separation? What determines? What is a musical genre?

All these questions will be central axis during this meeting.

Through listening to a selected material for the occasion, instantiations of certain concepts in the piano and watching scores of such material, will be searched clinic "Analysis and tango composition of the century", indentificativas own and understand the characteristics of the genre today in various aspects: The formal and structural aspect, harmonic, contrapuntístico, rhythmic, textural, tímbrico, melodic, dynamic, aesthetic, articulation and types of support. Always linking the creations of this century with the last century.

In order to understand in depth the gender; they will be highlighted on the one hand: The characteristics of the tango and the current changes. On the other hand: features borrowed from other genres and how they were developed and adapted to tango in recent years.

It will demonstrate how numerous technical and compositional systems can coexist in the same work, nourishing a diverse compositional material and promoting and expanding the possibilities of development.

Material that will be provided to the student during the clinical: Booklet, selection of complementary booklet and scores of tangos and tango compositions analyze audio.

The aim is to facilitate and guide through the musical analysis and understanding of this new repertoire of music Argentina, personal artistic and aesthetic way of the future composers or composers of this time.

Structure and timetable:

• Rhythmic and metric variants accompaniment, rhythm and articulation in the melodic aspect, percussive effects, characteristic licks and formal analysis.

The cost for attending both meetings is $500 and the price for attending one of the two games is $300.
