Liszt Transcendental: a journey through the piano landscapes
This concert proposes a tour of eight of Franz Liszt's Transcendental Studies, one of the masterpieces of piano literature. More than a succession of pieces, The program is organized as a journey through different poetic universes: initial energy and momentum, contemplation of the landscape, the most mysterious and spectral atmospheres, and the heroic and epic dimension that inspired the composer.
Each block will be accompanied by brief comments that will allow you to discover the ideas, images and literary references that gave rise to these works. The recital will include, Besides, fragments of texts by Victor Hugo and Charles Baudelaire, establishing a dialogue between music and poetry of the 19th century.
An invitation to listen to Liszt from a different perspective: not only as an extraordinary virtuoso, but as a creator capable of transforming the piano into a space of imagination, nature, drama and significance.
