The music of Nicolás Ojeda is nourished by very varied elements, from the crudeness and freedom of the avant-garde of the 50/60 to current experimental and electronic music, but always contrasting with a heavy emphasis on stripped back melodies, sensitive, “singable”…
“The pandemic put the world in a state of hibernation and introspection, an abrupt "Stop" to everything we knew and a restart, a rebirth from the ashes… In my case with the idea of going even deeper into the identity of what I do, unify my very different interests, further exposing my “eclectic” nature and losing control as a starting point and strength; then with Andrea Romio (visual artist and videomaker) we set out to make a series of videos and approach both our searches as a sound-visual duo.
This album is the result of those "pandemic sessions" that has now mutated into a new album format as if it were the soundtracks of a movie.”
