Since 2020, both musicians begin to put together a repertoire made up of original arrangements, mainly oriented towards country music, the tango and the song.
After receiving a scholarship from INAMU in 2022, They put these pieces together on a disk called “For the land of one”, whose name is inspired by the song by María Elena Walsh.
Navigating between the bucolicism of a work like “the downpour”, the darkest universe “sad milonga” and the somewhat unbridled and playful rhythm of a tango like “never had a boyfriend”, both interpreters manage to develop their own style, preserving at the same time the essence of the different traditions that make up the universe of this project.
To finish giving life to this project, the duo invited two highly talented artists, who are Inés Cuello in singing and Joaquín Benítez Kitegroski in bandoneon.
Through this intimate proposal, Santiago Vera Candioti and Martha Humbert Dunoyer sought to reflect some corner of their inner world, offering at the same time a less well-trodden vision of the south, maybe more austere, but no less attractive and captivating.
