This trio is Lucas Nikotian's new project, Member of the emblematic Grupo Puente Celeste, who on this occasion explores his compositions with Santiago Lamisovski on double bass and Marce Vicente in Violoncello. The instrumentation, apparently classical, It enters into contemporary sound territories, merging the subtlety of the piano with the warmth of the cello and the depth of the double. Sound aesthetics refers to the productions of the emblematic ECM record, recognized for its focus on modern chamber music and genres fusion. The influence of the Brazilian composer Egberto Gismonti feels in the way the trio plays with rhythms, improvisation and a melodic style that incorporates resonances of popular music and classical music. The compositions explore a rich and diverse sound palette, that goes from the meditative and minimalist to the expansive and loaded with energy, Always maintaining a balance between the acoustic and the experimental.
