The guitarist and composer José María Saluzzi presents himself with his new assembly, with which he interprets music of his authorship. La agrupación, that Matías Carazzo complete in Saxo Soprano and Clarinetes, Mariano Martos on double bass and Gustavo Chenu on drums, offers an artistic proposal that combines written and improvised music, With strong influences from the Río de la Plata and the northwest of our country.

José María Saluzzi is Argentine guitarist and composer. His approach to music was at seven years of age by his father, Bandoneonista and composer Dino Saluzzi. He started as drummer and percussionist accompanying Dino on his tours and recordings with the ECM label (Mojotoro, 1991), collaboration that remains until today.
At eighteen he made a turn, Starting his guitar studies in Argentina with Walter Malosetti and Aníbal Arias. He continued his musical training abroad with Ralph Towner guitarists and composers, Stanley Jordan and various international teachers. He deepened music and composition at the Catholic University of Buenos Aires (UCA) And at the University of Art and Music of Vienna, Austria, And he made the specialization in camera music at the University of Lanús (Buenos Aires province).

Has shared scenarios with Gerardo Gandini, Juan Falú, Javier Malosetti, Luis Salinas, Jaime Torres, Quique Sinesi, And in the international arena he has participated together with Jim Hall, Beyond meola, Marc Johnson, Uli oval, TuncBoyaci Art, Pablo Márquez, Anja Lechner, Palle Mikkelborg, Palle Daniellson, Julia Malischnig, Jacob Young and Dino Saluzzi, entre otros. The presentations have included music of their authorship at various European festivals and concerts.

He works in multiple projects with his family and, independently, own projects in Argentina and abroad with the Saluzzi-Fracchi-Bisgaard trio, with which he recorded the album in Denmark and made numerous tours of the Nordic and Argentina country. Recently recorded an album with his father and Norwegian guitarist Jacob Young, and prepares for two European tours that will take place the second semester of 2023.

In the last year, José María Saluzzi Ensemble is bound, with whom he interprets music of his authorship, as well as his father. Through your compositions, creates a new sound that crosses different musical forms crossing improvisation, Traditional Argentine folklore and avant -garde camera music. It is considered one of the finest musicians for the delicacy of its sound.
