La presentación adelantada del futuro disco “BACH EN QUENA” que será como el segundo álbum completamente con obras de J. S. Bach on this traditional and ancient Andean flute; the quena performed by the innovator and one of the most recognized interpreters of this instrument.
Miguel de Olaso
Argentine lutenist and guitarist, was born in Buenos Aires in 1964. He is a National Professor of
Guitar (“Carlos López Buchardo” National Conservatory of Music, guitar chair
by Master Jorge Martínez Zárate, 1990), Bachelor of Musical Arts (JUNAH, Institute
National University of Art, 2014, tutor Profesor Omar Cyrulnik) and Senior Professor
guitar (CSMMF, “Manuel de Falla” Higher Conservatory of Music, 2022).
He completed specialization studies in baroque lute and guitar at the Schola Cantorum.
Basel (Basel, Suiza) with lutenist Hopkinson Smith.
He is director of the “Seminar for lutenists and guitarists” that has been carried out since 2023 in
the Bariloche Musical Camping. Regularly gives seminars, courses, workshops and master classes in Buenos Aires and the interior of the country.
He is currently a member of La Rosa de Maravilla - dedicated to poetry, theater and music
Spanish Golden Age and Elizabethan England- along with the actress Malena Solda and the singer
Victor Torres, and the duo “Pulsados” - transcriptions of works by J. S. Bach- next to the
harpsichordist Manuel de Olaso.
