Gustavo Reinoso presents “People, contours, and imaginary cities

  • 04/11/2023 - 23/03/2024

Curator Luján Baudino

Gustavo Reinoso was born in Buenos Aires, 1969. Is an architect, art director and visual artist. It has a defined visual identity characterized by a geometrizing graphic synthesis with a marked accent on the value of identity..
Both for its theme and the type of work it does., His painting is close but at the same time it involves an essential exercise that all art implies.: stop to contemplate.
Reinoso has a great ability to capture the essential elements of the stories he represents..
His works have the creativity of a drawing that always tells a story and hides an infinite number of details that enrich the experience so that we can capture them and decode the sign.. The meaning is displayed in the detailed observation of the surface of the painting, almost like a hidden secret detector, the viewer is faced with revealing these contained stories that find their complete integration in the internal identification of the object or character represented in the memory of the person who contemplates it..
Sensitive to the reality around you, Gustavo Reinoso has a look of value towards humanity. Love cities and their characters, but above all, loves stories and draws them to turn them into memory.
His works are found in private collections in Latin America., Spain and the United States.
