Fran Nava Sextet is made up of Nicolás Boccanera on piano, Lucas Goicoechea on saxo, Franco Espíndola on trombone, Omar Menéndez on drums, Joaquín Muro on trumpet and Fran Nava on double bass, where they present the album “A History of Particles” with 6 own songs, being the third solo album. Broad musical styles are covered but always linked to the aesthetics of jazz., with strong group interaction, along with intensity and energy as main auditory schemes, making the musical proposal very open and varied. Giving continuity to the albums released in the 2021 Y 2022, and expanding the formation from quartet to sextet, a recording session was generated 6 Fran Nava's own compositions, those that were arranged by the musician Juan Klas. With a strong work of arrangements and editing of the music, It presents roots typical of the jazz of Mingus and Marsalis, as well as hints of Free Jazz.
