LOCOTO is a trio made up of Alejandro Franov (piano and keyboards), Facundo Guevara (percussion) and Franco Fontanarrosa (electric bass). Three musicians with diverse backgrounds come together in a proposal where Argentine music coexists, the Jazz, el rock, free improvisation and sound exploration.
The group was born from spontaneous encounters in shared settings, where the need to continue a common search appears: improvise, develop ideas, explore rhythmic cells and discover new ways of interaction between instruments.
Through spontaneous recordings and deep listening among its members, LOCOTO builds its own language, in which composition and improvisation constantly dialogue. His music combines elaborate structures, timbre searches and a strong collective identity, fruit of the complicity and creative freedom of its members.
