The Sonora Cartographies Festival brings together Argentine musicians and instrumental projects that explore the intersections between modern jazz, Latin American music and various sound traditions of the world. Its programming proposes a journey through different aesthetics and territories, through original and current works that take up and reinterpret local roots from a contemporary perspective with a strong improvisational component.
Lucas Trosman invites along with Café Vinilo and the Disco Club.
Guitarist Ernesto Snajer will present a show in solo format, in which he will perform original compositions from his last two albums released through the Club del Disco (“Single Guitar” and “Motor Love”) in addition to his own guitar versions of songs by great authors such as Paul Mc Carnet, Gardel, Garcia and Spinetta.
For his part, Lucas Trosman Group made up of Demian Pozzo (guitarra eléctrica), Nacho Gaztañaga (electric bass), Nacho Calza (piano and keyboards) and Lucas Trosman (drums and musical direction), will present some of the compositions from his first album, Portraits of a time, along with new works that will be part of his second album. A deep development of rhythm can be heard in the compositions, dialoguing with Afro-Latin music, irregular meters and contemporary jazz from around the world.
