Through the emergence of color planes in the drawing and the technical and
chromatic charcoal with oil, Daniel Rivero Serradell raises a relationship
dialectic that offers awareness of the multiple possible dimensions through
the painting.

Daniel Rivero Serradell
Born in Villa Giardino, Pcia. From Córdoba in 1973.
From a very young age he began his artistic activity in a playful way without taking into account that time would put him in that place..
In 2002 He lives in Spain and during 12 For years he works in a company as a designer until his hobby becomes a professional activity and forces him to leave design.. Making sales in Spain, Germany and mainly in the USA.
During his stay in the European country he focused on a type of figurative painting oriented towards the classic bars of the places he visited., thus, was that, He made a large number of paintings about French bars, Spanish people, Italians, Tunisians and Buenos Aires using oil painting with a palette knife as a technique inherited from one of their main teachers Georg Miciú Nicolaevichi. At the same time, he attended the workshop of an important Malaga painter to take classes with the idea of continuing to improve his technique since his instinct led him to the beginning of his apprenticeship “La Carbonilla”.
It was in 2007 when he threw himself fully into art as a profession and in 2017 He returns to his hometown with a first exhibition alone in the House of Culture of Villa Giardino and later in the Cultural House of Córdoba “Casa de Pepino”.
On his return he takes time making an impressionist work with regular outings to Plein Air trying to work in local colors., that as we know, each place has its own identity in terms of color. He makes a large number of works until he refines and Miciú himself tells him “I lived 13 "I spent years in Giardino and I was not able to capture the atmosphere of the Sierras de Córdoba as well as you.".
In the period 2019 – 2023 He served as Director of Culture of Villa Giardino.
In September 2022 start researching a new way of painting, The body asked for changes and he devoted himself fully to trying to unify his two great passions., on the one hand the Charcoal and on the other the oil colors since he had never made works with both unified techniques. The result of this duo is what he calls CARBOCOLOR., It is a contemporary figurative work where the figuration is located in an abstract space, The charcoal is responsible for representing the human figure and the rest is an explosion of color arranged randomly, mixing different homogeneous chromaticisms with each other..
At the beginning of 2021 Daniel begins the construction of a Workshop Room that is finally inaugurated on 29 March 2024 with an exhibition of his new work with Manuel De Francesco, a successful sculptor from Villa Giardino who has lived in Buenos Aires for several decades.
