Cristian Basto Ensemble, specially formed for this occasion, presents a string quintet, piano y bandoneón. The ensemble will perform original works by Cristian Basto that delve into the new sounds of tango and other Argentine popular music., along with selected pieces by Gerardo Gandini and Osvaldo Ruggiero.
Meanwhile, Quasimodo Trio will offer material from their latest album, “Loose Parts,” a collection of original compositions that combine Argentine folk music with tango, jazz and chamber music. Además, the trio will take a tour of their 18 years of history, performing pieces from his three previous albums.
