“The Heart of the Earth” is the third album by the singer Casiana Torres, a handful of fifteen songs that travel through a varied repertoire of folk roots. Thus the material runs the popular music Argentina, diving between chamamé, samba, chacarera, chamarrita and even the basin and cuyana tonada, hand of great authors and composers like Atahualpa Yupanqui, Linares Cardozo, Alfredo Zitarrosa, Felix Dardo Palorma, Alfonso and Zavala, Eduardo Troncoso, Tito Gómez, José Larralde, Ernesto Head, Zambrano trough, Ruben Cruz and Nestor Soria, entre otros.
This is an album whose music is supported mainly on guitar Argentina, thus deepening an aesthetic and ideological search while the singer is embracing: a kind of indentation in the repertoire of national folklore, from genuine freedom and interpretive need, in an attempt to reveal not only the soundscape of each region but their own singing. In this way, singer with guitarist Martin Nazareno Castro, who also heads, manages and produces artistic and musically the album, work on each of the pieces with the idea that the word, music and story of each song and boarding reveal to us somehow to that villager flow, therethrough and sensitizes.
