The Sonora Cartographies Festival brings together Argentine musicians and instrumental projects that explore the intersections between modern jazz, Latin American music and various sound traditions of the world. Its programming proposes a journey through different aesthetics and territories, through original and current works that take up and reinterpret local roots from a contemporary perspective with a strong improvisational component.

Andrea Zurita is a guitarist, composer and teacher from Salta who develops her activity as a soloist, performing an instrumental repertoire of his own works. His music combines influences from Latin American tradition with a personal sound search., that runs through folklore, el tango y la música contemporánea.
Alejandro Manzoni Trio, composed of Alejandro Manzoni (piano y composición), Guido Martinez (low) and Leandro Savelón (batería y percusión), performs own compositions, taking as a starting point the rich folklore material that our country offers. His proposal deepens the intersection between Argentine folklore, jazz and academic music, developing a personal language that combines instrumental solidity and improvisation with an attractive and original sound.
