Sounds of an intimate-jazz-experimental Brazil with songs and texts by
Cecilia Arellano and German Kucich, pianist based in Madrid who will be
briefly in town. The songs thematize foreigners, migrations
and love. Tom Jobim's pearls are added to the concert, Gilberto Gil and we count
with the invaluable participation of Tiki Canteros coloring the evening.

Cecilia Arellano.Singer, composer, author, goes through various expressions of the
vocal music crossing conventional boundaries between genres with strong roots
in the music of Brazil. native of Argentina, grew up in Brazil and developed great
part of his career in Europe. He has sung at festivals and theaters in various
countries like Teatro Colón (Argentina), Lyon Opera (France), Burghof
Theater, (Germany), Northern Guard (Suiza), Festspielhaus St Pölten (Austria)
entre otros. Singing teacher at the Universidad del Litoral and author of the
popular voice book, 2019. His records Choro for Carmen, songs like this,
Charm and Attachment (original music -FNA Award) they are on the platforms
digital. His creations embrace the territory traced by migrations and
walk around sounds of a Brazil-jazz-experimental. creator of
musical shows that dialogue with other arts. Lic. in singing in the
Royal Conservatory in The Hague, Holland, co-author of the book "La voz popular".

Germán Kucich studied piano in Buenos Aires with Juan Pargenton, Edgardo
Beilin and Mario Acosta. Participate in seminars with Barry Harris, Bruce Barth,
Gary Burton, Albert Bover and Noemi Ojeda. Play and record with musicians from the
Argentine music scene as Pepi Taveira, Carlos Lastra, Alejandro Herrera and
Mingo Martino. Since 1993 reside in Madrid, in whose jazz circuit he performs
frequently, as well as in the rest of Spain and Europe. has toured
accompanying the American singers Deborah Davis and Gene Lee. Likewise
has collaborated with prominent musicians such as James Moody, Parakeet Sambeat,
Marc Miralta, javier hill, Bob Sands, Bobby Martínez, Paula Bas, Joaquin
chacon, Mikel Andueza, Chris Kase, Diego Victor, Weather Fatieh. Also
plays and records together with important flamenco artists such as Enrique Morente,
Joseph the French, The South Barbershop, Chonchi Heredia, Vincent Friend and Girl
Shepherds. He has recorded a trio album: Kucich-Ibáñez-Barroso.
