In 2025 the centenary of Carlos Paredes is celebrated, one of the most emblematic figures of Portuguese culture and a true universal ambassador of the Portuguese guitar.
To commemorate this historic occasion, the 100PAREDES project was born, which has already developed around 100 initiatives in Portugal and in many other countries around the world.
This tribute proposes a dialogue between tradition and contemporaneity, bringing the Portuguese guitar to the world through the musicians Bruno Costa, Nuno Botelho and André Varandas, under the artistic direction of André Varandas and Bruno Costa.
Between October 2025 and March 2026, 100PAREDES will complete an international tour 15 countries, including Macau, Hong Kong, China, Timor Oriental, Poland, France, Brazil, Uruguay, Argentina, Turkey, Guinea, Sao Tome, United States and Cuba.
In that sense, The project represents a unique opportunity to bring the richness and universality of the Portuguese guitar to the Argentine public., in a tribute that builds bridges between cultures.
